Old Dominion University is proud of its long tradition of global
engagement. Central to this tradition is a globally active faculty, strong
support services for a large and diverse international community and
accessible opportunities for ODU students to study, intern and serve
abroad. The University offers a broad international curriculum, including
study in 11 foreign languages, taught by a faculty with extensive international
interests. ODU truly possesses a global ethos that is available on few
campuses today. "A Portal to New Worlds" is not just our
university motto - it is a commitment to bring international issues
and the world's many cultural traditions to ODU students on a daily
basis.
